Waters of Life Wednesday

as received by Deacon Stan Cor; shared with permission

John 7:37-39 – On the last & greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out: If any one is thirsty, let him come to me; let him drink who believes in Me. Scripture has it: “From within him rivers (torrents) of living water shall flow.” (Here He was referring to the Holy Spirit whom those who come to believe in Him were to receive. There was, of course, no Spirit as yet, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.)
“Waters of life are available to all who will come to Me; I AM the Source, the Fountain that never shall run dry. Drink from Me & let the rivers (plural) flow to bring life, healing & wholeness wherever you direct their flow. Let the rivers gush forth from your inner being, your spirit being, to water and make fruitful all those within your circles of influence. As you do you will be watered and made fruitful as well.”

Isaiah 55:1a: “All you who are thirsty, come to the water!”
“The waters of life are available to all who will come to Me & drink. The problem with many of My people is that they do not seem to be aware that the rivers of living water exist & so they do not seek or find. The Holy Spirit is largely unknown to far too many of My people & they do not enjoy the rivers of life-giving water.
In Luke 11:13 I promised, ‘How much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those of you who ask Him.’ This promise is for you. Ask & receive the Holy Spirit & power. You need both the Holy Spirit & the Word of God. The Word without the Spirit leads to harsh, legalistic, pharisee like behaviour. The letter of the law kills; My Word is Spirit & life.
Receive the Holy Spirit afresh & experience the rivers of living water flow out of your inner being. Be a releaser of the waters of life now & always. Be a Spirit filled Word equipped disciple! Holy Spirit will equip you & empower you. Invite Him to do His work in you & thru you. You need Him!
Let the rivers of life flow to bring life everywhere.”
